Card Requests

Here are a few cards requested by my coworkers. This one uses a Stampin' Up stamp, some Prima flowers, stickles and paper from Basic Grey.

The next one is an encouragement card. I used a Stampin' Up stamp, some heart stickers and ribbon and paper from my stash.

This one is for the brother of a coworker. She requested a Jimmy Buffet theme. So I thought I would make a cheeseburger in paradise. I used Everyday Paper Dolls and Paper Doll Dress Up as well as stickles and some DCWV paper. I think it turned out really cute!

This next card is a birthday card for the daughter of a friend. I used Create A Critter, stickles, some K & Company paper and some letter beads. Too cute!

Halloween!

I picked up the Midnight Spell DCWV paper pack recently and decided to make a few Halloween cards today. I used a couple of Stampin' Up stamps, some embossing powder, the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punck, a bat punch, and ribbon from my stash.

Card Crazy 2!

A friend at work requested a couple of thank you cards for her kid's preschool teachers. Once again, I used a sheet of Basic Gray paper, a Stampin' Up stamp and some ribbon. I really like the one with the doily!

The same friend also asked for a birthday card for a little boy. I used Everyday Paper Dolls and a Stampin' Up stamp. So cute!

And finally, the following card is for a friend who is moving on to a brand new step in her life! I used a Stampin' Up stamp and the Basic Gray paper.

Card Crazy!

This has been a very productive week a far as cardmaking goes. I finally got back into the groove! These cards were made with Basic Grey paper, a Stampin' Up stamp set, Stampin' Write markers, punches, ribbon, etc.

I have had the Pastoral Toile stamp from Stampin' Up for years and had never used it. I made the following card with that stamp and clear embossing powder, some ribbon and a couple of prima flowers.

Pizza Party Invite

A friend's daughter is turning 3 this month and they are having her party at a pizza place. Check out these cute invites! We used George and Basic Shapes and Mini Monograms.

Rainy Sunday

A coworker requested some birthday cards so I decided to use this rainy Sunday for cardmaking. I have decided that I have too much patterned paper and I need to try to use it. So all of these cards were made using one 12x12 piece of Basic Grey paper. I also used Stampin' Up stamps, ribbon, pins from my sewing box, stickles and some bling.

My coworker also needed a birthday card for a guy so this is what I came up with. I used a DCWV stack, Stampin' Up stamp and some twine.

Wedding Decorations

So, my younger sister was married on July 31 and we made the decorations for the reception tables. The luminarias were made with Storybook and Tie the Knot with some vellum for the windows. I found some balloon LED lights on clearance at Walmart to illuminate them. We also used a punch around the top for decoration. We did purple and pink ones and alternated them around the reception hall tables. Pretty cute.

We also made bands to go around the candles on the tables using a punch, the cutouts from the luminarias and the same monogram "R". We used the cuttlebug to add a little interest.

I finally used my Bind-It-All to make the guest book as well using the same monogram "R" and the cuttlebug.

The program for the wedding was made used border punches, ribbon and a cuttlebug embossing folders. We made 200 of them. My cuttlebug muscles sure got a work out!

A Couple of Quick Cards

So I had a little free time tonight and thought I'd make a couple of cards to send out tomorrow. The first is a thank you card for my cousin who played a flute duet with me at my sister's wedding. I love this 80's Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm! I also used a cuttlebug die for the Thanks sentiment and paper from Basic Grey. So cute!

This next one is a get well card for a friend from church. She has been sick and in the hospital for several weeks and I thought I'd send her a card to help cheer her up. This one uses Stampin' Up stamps, Nestabilities dies, stickles, Basic Grey paper, Washi tape, some lace and some stick pins from my sewing box.

The following card was for my mom to send to a family member as a thank you for taking pictures at my sister's wedding. The colors echo what we used for the reception decorations. I used a cuttlebug die for the sentiment and flowers, some ribbon from my stash and a border punch.

It's Been A Long Time...

Wow! It's been forever since I posted last. Since the last post I went on a mission trip to Peru, got a temporary roommate, assisted at my church's VBS and was in my little sister's wedding. Haven't done much crafting in the last couple of months as a result. I did make these bridal shower invites for a friend at work. This is the second marriage for both wife and groom and the bridal shower is non-traditional. Just a bunch of friends hanging out and enjoying a little sangria. I hope the bride likes these invites! I used the Savory Lite cartridge for the pitcher and embossed it with clear embossing powder.
