Birthday Cards

Just wanted to do a quick post of a couple of birthday cards I made today. Most of the cards I make are girly so I wanted to try a couple of masculine cards. These were made using the Sweet Treats cartridge, a stamp from Stampin' Up and some stickles (even guys need bling).

NSD Challenge #12

This challenge was to use a critter of some kind. I just love the pandas on the Pagoda cartridge. Especially with googly eyes!

NSD Challenge #11

This challenge was to use all the colors of the rainbow. I used some DCWV textured cardstock and a butterfly from the Walk in My Garden cartridge.

NSD Challenge #10

"May Day" was the theme for this challenge. We were suppose to make something springy. Here is a little purse from the Forever Young cartridge blinged up with some stickles.
Enjoy!

NSD Challenge #9

This challenge was to make a shape card/scrapbook page/project. Recently I found a blog post (can't remember where) that had instructions on how to make a box from a 12x12 piece of cardstock that would fit A2 size cards/envelopes. I thought this would be a cute way to give someone a set of thank you notes.

NSD Challenge #8

So, this one was a little tricky. The challenge was to use a monochromatic theme (one color and a neutral). I found some yellow and gray polka dot ribbon recently so I decided to use yellow for this challenge. I used a Stampin' Up punch, a cuttlebug embossing folder, the ribbon and prima flowers.
