Cricut Circle Challenge

The following card was made for the Weekly Challenge over at the Cricut Circle Blog. I made this using the Celebrate with Flourish cartridge (shamrocks) and the Simply Charmed cartridge (leprechaun). I used a Paper Studio punch for the larger squares and a Martha Stewart punch for the smaller, scalloped squares. Some gold stickles finish the look. Hope you like it!

New Camera

I finally broke down and purchased a DSLR camera. I've been wanting one for a long time now and just thought the price was cost prohibitive. I got a Nikon D3100. I don't know much about how to use it right now but I hope to learn. I might even take a photography class eventually. Now, on to the pictures. I made this card using the Rock Princess Cricut cartridge and the Diamond Plate Cuttlebug folder. It may be my favorite card ever! Add a little silver Stickles and a cool stamp saying from Stampin' Up and it's the perfect card!

Weekly Cricut Circle Challenge

This week's challenge was to go "Back to Basics" and use the cartridge that came with your Cricut machine. This card used George and Basic Shapes. I cut 2 different hearts, a circle and a tag with 3 layers. I also used 3 Cuttlebug embossing folders, some stickles, a Martha Stewart border punch and some ribbon for embellishment. Hope you like it!

Valentine's Cards

I finally got some time to craft today and decided to make a few Valentine's Day cards.

I made this card using some extra packaging to make a shaker.

This one was made using a punch around the page set from Martha Stewart and some adhesive sayings with glitter that I got at Ollie's.


I used the Love Struck Cricut cartridge to make this one. I also used some stickles for a little bling.


This one also used the Love Struck cartridge and some stickles.


I think this one is my favorite! Also using the Love Struck cartridge as well as a little Cuttlebug embossing. I also used my Irock to add a little bling.


This one is just a simple card using some crepe paper and a little bling and some ribbon.

MPS 9/11 Challenge

My Pink Stamper posted a challenge to create something for the troops to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11/01. Here is my patriotic thank you card! I used Indie Art, DCWV adhesive paper, Cuttlebug die cut for the "thanks", a Fiskars punch and stickles.

Birthday Cards

Check out these cute cards! I finally used my Robotz cartridge. Lots of pieces but I love this robot! I used some stickles, a Cuttlebug folder and DCWV adhesive paper.

This one used the Create A Critter cartridge, Cuttlebug folder, stickles and DCWV Adhesive paper. I love this butterfly cut!

Now this card is super cute! I used Everyday Paper Dolls, stickles and DCWV paper. I beginning to love these paper doll cuts!

Miscellaneous Cards

These cards are a few Sympathy and Get Well cards that a friend requested. I used a circle and a butterfly punch I found at Big Lots, Sakura Glase pen, Stickles, DCWV paper and several border punches.

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I decided to get a jump start on my Christmas cards for this year. I used Stretch Your Imagination, Christmas Cheer and Cuttlebug folders for these with some Stickles for bling.

The following is a fall/Thanksgiving card. I used Stretch Your Imagination, Glimmer Mist and Stickles. I think I like that it is so simple, yet beautiful.

Card Requests

Here are a few cards requested by my coworkers. This one uses a Stampin' Up stamp, some Prima flowers, stickles and paper from Basic Grey.

The next one is an encouragement card. I used a Stampin' Up stamp, some heart stickers and ribbon and paper from my stash.

This one is for the brother of a coworker. She requested a Jimmy Buffet theme. So I thought I would make a cheeseburger in paradise. I used Everyday Paper Dolls and Paper Doll Dress Up as well as stickles and some DCWV paper. I think it turned out really cute!

This next card is a birthday card for the daughter of a friend. I used Create A Critter, stickles, some K & Company paper and some letter beads. Too cute!

Halloween!

I picked up the Midnight Spell DCWV paper pack recently and decided to make a few Halloween cards today. I used a couple of Stampin' Up stamps, some embossing powder, the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punck, a bat punch, and ribbon from my stash.

Rainy Sunday

A coworker requested some birthday cards so I decided to use this rainy Sunday for cardmaking. I have decided that I have too much patterned paper and I need to try to use it. So all of these cards were made using one 12x12 piece of Basic Grey paper. I also used Stampin' Up stamps, ribbon, pins from my sewing box, stickles and some bling.

My coworker also needed a birthday card for a guy so this is what I came up with. I used a DCWV stack, Stampin' Up stamp and some twine.

A Couple of Quick Cards

So I had a little free time tonight and thought I'd make a couple of cards to send out tomorrow. The first is a thank you card for my cousin who played a flute duet with me at my sister's wedding. I love this 80's Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm! I also used a cuttlebug die for the Thanks sentiment and paper from Basic Grey. So cute!

This next one is a get well card for a friend from church. She has been sick and in the hospital for several weeks and I thought I'd send her a card to help cheer her up. This one uses Stampin' Up stamps, Nestabilities dies, stickles, Basic Grey paper, Washi tape, some lace and some stick pins from my sewing box.

The following card was for my mom to send to a family member as a thank you for taking pictures at my sister's wedding. The colors echo what we used for the reception decorations. I used a cuttlebug die for the sentiment and flowers, some ribbon from my stash and a border punch.

Tri-fold Shutter Card

I have seen a few examples of tri-fold shutter cards online and decided to try one myself. I think it turned out pretty cute. I used DCWV card stock and several different Stampin' Up stamps and the Stamp and Write markers, ribbon from my stash, a nestabilities circle die, prima flowers and some stickles for bling.

Quick Card

I finally got a set of Nestabilities to use in my Cuttlebug. Here is a wedding card I made for a coworker using the Nestabilities, stickles, a fiskars border punch, some ribbon from my stash, a Stampin' Up sentiment, embossing powder, and a cuttlebug embossing folder.

Birthday Cards

Just wanted to do a quick post of a couple of birthday cards I made today. Most of the cards I make are girly so I wanted to try a couple of masculine cards. These were made using the Sweet Treats cartridge, a stamp from Stampin' Up and some stickles (even guys need bling).
