This challenge was to make something for your Dad. My dad is definitely not a frills kind of guy so this simple card using the Printing 101 and Plantin Schoolbook cartridges is perfect.

NSD Challenge #6
OK, this challenge was to make something with a Child or with a child in mind. Since I don't have any kids hangin' around I had to think of something myself. So, I pull out the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge and made the following. What little boy doesn't want to put on some sparkly armor and slay the dragon? Although, this dragon doesn't look very fierce to me.
NSD Challenge #5
This challenge was to make something for Teacher Appreciation Week. There are many teachers at my church and while I don't have any children, I realize how very important they are in a sometimes thankless occupation. So, here is a thank you to all the teachers out there! I used the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, Tim Holtz distress ink, cuttlebug folder, ribbon from Wal-Mart and some stickles for bling.
NSD Challenge #4
So the name of this challenge is "I like you the least". We were challenged to use a cricut cartridge that we don't pull out very often. I chose the Destinations cartridge. To be honest, I've never used this cartridge. I haven't been to many of these places so I haven't had much need for it. I do have a friend who loves Yellowstone so I decided to make her a sticker (using the Xyron which I also don't pull out very often. I like that the image is sort of like a vintage patch or something. Check it out!

So this challenge was to think outside the box. So, last year I saw a blog (can't remember which one) where the poster used packing tape and glitter to make a snowflake card. I remember thinking it was a really cool effect but didn't get around to doing it. So, what better time to try than on NSD? Check it out!

OK, this challenge was to make a project using scraps. I used the Forever Young cricut cartridge for the flower using scraps and the ribbon was also scrap. Enjoy!
My Pink Stamper NSD Challenge #1
So I haven't been crafty in a while so I decided to take part in National Scrapbook Day challenges over at Mypinkstamper.com. So, here are my creations!
This challenge was to make something with your mother in mind. I used the Walk in My Garden cricut cartridge, a Cuttlebug folder for texture, some twine from Stampin' Up, stickles, distress ink from Tim Holtz, and a saying from Stampin' Up.
